An attentive therapy session
My approach

The connection is the work.

Research has shown, again and again, that no matter what method is used, the connection between you and your therapist is the essential factor in feeling better about yourself and your life.

In our sessions we'll work to solve current problems and build more positive thinking and behavior. I'll help you "re-frame" your reactions and give you tools to cope with life's obstacles. I'm versed in a number of treatment modalities, and I'll tailor the most effective ones for you.

As a seasoned clinician, I excel at identifying the problems, conflicts, and roadblocks many clients experience. Most people know what they want — the hard part is navigating from point A to point B.

Frequently asked

Questions people ask before the first call

Do you take my insurance?

I'm an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Contact me and I'll walk you through what to ask your plan.

Where are you licensed to practice?

I'm licensed in New York (LCSW-R, CASAC) and Florida (LCSW, LMFT, MCAP, SAP). Telehealth is available for clients physically located in either state.

What is ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy)?

ART is an evidence-informed, short-term therapy that uses eye movements to help the brain process difficult memories and emotions. I'm an advanced practitioner, and it's particularly effective for PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.

How long will therapy take?

It depends on what you're bringing in. Some people feel relief after a handful of sessions; others appreciate longer-term work. We'll check in regularly about how things are going and whether it still feels useful.

Do you offer couples or family sessions?

Yes. I work with individuals, couples, and families, especially where stress, codependency, anxiety, depression, body image, or communication issues have caused discord.

How do I get started?

Send me a short message through the form below, or call 914-443-5182. I'll get back to you to schedule a brief consultation and answer your questions.
